A couple of webquests for my students. Since they're Dutch students, the pages are in Dutch.
The Gauss-Bonnet theorem, having to do with (Gaussian) curvature of surfaces, is one of the most elegant and amazing theorems I know, and should be in the top-10 of "beautiful theorems of all time". This short article tries to explain the basics about Gaussian curvature and the Gauss-Bonnet theorem for mathematically inclined non-mathematicians.
From the article's page, you can also download 2 QuickTIme animations, demonstrating some of the points discussed. So even if you're not a math-head,you might find the animations entertaining.
