The first (pre-www) incarnation of Omega Art was solely concerned with graphic design and artwork. Still a major part of the entire concept, even though the scope of Omega Art has increased considerably since these first days.
On these pages you find a small assortment of artwork, both commercial and non-commercial. There's traditional media and digital imaging, compositing and 3D-rendering, photo-retouching and abstract pieces. Only a few pieces are displayed - more to come in due time. Traditional paintings will be added as soon as there's a sunny day on which I find the time to make dozens of photographs.
Click the thumbnails to view a larger picture (highly recommended, since these small pics clearly don't do the original artwork justice). When viewing the larger pictures, you can click left/right arrows to go to the next picture directly. The Omega Art logo takes you back here.
In the captions below, "hand drawn" means no photo's or scans were used. "Compositing" means scans and photo's were used, often combined with a fair amount of "hand drawing".
If you want to contact Omega Art for custom artwork, document layout (both covers and "insides" of books or reports), logo-design, or anything related to what you find on these pages, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Mathematical animation, demonstrating the concept of Gaussian curvature. This animation accompanies an article on this subject, which you'll find here. To download the animation, please go to the article's page, where you'll also find more stills from this animation, with a short explanation. The animation was hand-coded in POV-ray - i.e. no graphical front-end was used. |
